About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that will play a pivotal role in driving our sales performance and expanding our market presence. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our sales team, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients. This role is essential to achieving our ambitious growth targets and cementing our position as a trusted partner in the industrial marketing sector.

What you'll be doing

• Leading, managing and motivating the sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets and objectives
• Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and identifying new business opportunities
• Preparing sales proposals, quotations and presentations tailored to client requirements
• Monitoring sales performance metrics and providing regular reporting and analysis to senior management
• Conducting market research to identify trends, competitive positioning and growth opportunities
• Training, coaching and developing sales team members to enhance their performance and capabilities
• Negotiating contracts and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
• Attending industry events, trade shows and networking activities to promote our services and generate leads
• Collaborating with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of at least 5-7 years in sales management or senior sales roles within the industrial, manufacturing or B2B sector
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
• Solid understanding of industrial marketing, products or services and relevant industry dynamics
• Strong negotiation and closing skills with a consultative sales approach
• Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales analytics tools
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
• Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events
• Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, sales or a related field is preferred
