Company Overview

We are seeking a high-performing, self-driven Freight Forwarding Sales Manager to spearhead business development for our freight operations. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this individual-contributor role offers full ownership of sales activities across Air and Ocean freight.

• Leadership & Autonomy: Direct reporting line to MD with P&L ownership

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute sales activities for all Freight Forwarding (FF) products, including Ocean and Air Freight.

• Operate as an active "hunter," focusing on securing new business accounts, generating leads, and scheduling face-to-face or virtual client meetings.

• Present formal business proposals, respond promptly to tenders and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).

• Drive sales conversion, manage the end-to-end sales pipeline, and take full ownership of the assigned business P&L.

• Conduct weekly sales calls, follow up on leads, and maintain ongoing engagement with prospective clients.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, carrier movements, and rate fluctuations to adjust strategies effectively.

• Coordinate closely with internal Operations, Logistics, Account Management, and Finance teams.

• Submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports to the Managing Director.
