Sales Manager SME Sales (Life Insurance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and acquire new SME clients and business owners for life insurance solutions (group term, credit life, employee benefits, etc.)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with SME promoters, business owners, and decision-makers
• Understand client business needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
• Drive end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, pitching, proposal, closure, and onboarding
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets (APE, case count, persistency)
• Coordinate with underwriting, operations, and TPA teams for smooth policy issuance and servicing
• Ensure high persistency and renewal rates for acquired accounts

Candidate Profile:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline; MBA preferred
• 3-8 years of experience in SME/corporate sales, preferably in banking, life insurance, or health insurance
• Proven track record of acquiring and managing SME/business owner relationships
• Strong understanding of insurance products and SME client needs
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and meet targets
