Sales Marketing Staff Export Import

About the role

PT JHL TRANS INDONESIA is seeking a Marketing Staff Export Import to join our dynamic sales and account management team. This is a full-time position based in West Jakarta, Jakarta, offering an exciting opportunity to develop your career in the international trade and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through field visits, networking, referrals, and market research.

• Identify and approach potential customers, distributors, importers, exporters, and business partners.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and provide excellent customer service.

• Conduct regular customer visits and represent the company at exhibitions, trade events, and business meetings when required.

• Prepare and present product/service proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.

• Coordinate with internal teams such as logistics, warehouse, purchasing, finance, and customer service to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and prepare regular sales reports..

What we're looking for

• 1–3 years of experience in field sales, B2B sales, export-import, trading, logistics, or a related industry.
• Experience dealing with distributors, suppliers, importers, exporters, or corporate customers is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of export-import procedures, documentation requirements and international trade regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Target-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently in the field.
