What they need
The Sales Operations Administrator is one of the operational backbones of our sales organization, keeping data clean, processes running, and our Salesforce environment functioning reliably so the sales team can focus on selling. This role sits at the intersection of data management, process improvement, and CRM administration, partnering closely with the Sales Operations Manager to ensure accuracy and efficiency across the full sales lifecycle. It's an ideal role for someone who is detail-oriented and systems-minded, with a genuine interest in growing their Salesforce expertise in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
This is what you'll do:
- Own weekly and ad hoc updates to Opportunity, Account, and Contract records in Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy and completeness across the sales organization.
- Review and process inbound orders end-to-end; collaborate with sales, finance, and customers to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate, timely order completion.
- Triage and respond to ad hoc data requests, report pulls, and system questions from the sales team; prioritize and escalate as appropriate.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards that surface sales performance trends, pipeline health, and revenue metrics for sales and revenue operations stakeholders.
- Identify inefficiencies in sales operations workflows and drive improvements; develop and document standard operating procedures to improve consistency and productivity.
- Partner with the Sales Operations Manager on Salesforce configuration tasks including basic Flow maintenance, workflow rule monitoring, and validation rule accuracy.
- Maintain Salesforce data quality through routine hygiene checks, record deduplication, and timely resolution or escalation of data errors.
- Support testing and documentation for Salesforce projects and releases, contributing to the quality and continuity of system changes.
This is what you'll need:
- Experience in sales operations, business operations, CRM administration, or order management in a comparable role.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data and build reports and dashboards using Salesforce, Excel, or equivalent tools.
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of maintaining data integrity in a CRM or operational system.
- Clear, effective communicator who can work cross-functionally with sales, finance, and operations teams.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator (ADM 201), or actively working toward certification.
- Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Process documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow, workflow rules, and validation rules.
- Familiarity with DocuSign, CPQ, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo.
- Background in a SaaS or technology company environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience supporting a sales team or working within a revenue operations function
- Familiarity with order management or contract processing workflows
