Full-Time | Executive

- Drive sales operations, problem-solving and process improvements
- Career growth opportunity in Sales / Commercial Operations
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Sales Operations Executive to strengthen our sales operations and support our branch and dealer network across Malaysia.
This is a newly created position that will work with a high degree of independence, particularly during the initial stage, and report directly to the Managing Director.
You will serve as an important link between our Sales teams and operational functions, helping to resolve day-to-day issues involving stock availability, order fulfilment, logistics, allocation, ERP/CRM systems and sales processes.
Beyond resolving daily operational matters, you will also identify recurring problems, analyse process gaps and work across departments to implement practical improvements.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, coordinating across departments and improving the way things are done.
For an ambitious individual who performs well, there is clear opportunity to grow into a broader Sales Operations / Commercial Operations role within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Operations & Issue Resolution
- Act as the main day-to-day operational contact for branch and dealer sales teams on matters relating to stock availability, order fulfilment, logistics and allocation.
- Monitor and provide visibility on stock movement and availability across branches.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve operational issues affecting sales and customers.
- Maintain visibility of outstanding operational issues and follow through with stakeholders until resolution.
- Identify recurring problems and friction points between Sales and Operations.
- Investigate root causes and coordinate practical corrective actions.
- Maintain simple trackers and dashboards to monitor open issues, ageing and resolution turnaround time.
2. Process & Systems Improvement
- Identify gaps and improvement opportunities within existing sales operational processes.
- Support the design and implementation of practical improvements across the sales and order fulfilment workflow.
- Promote effective utilisation of ERP, CRM and other sales-related systems.
- Maintain good CRM and sales data quality, including pipeline hygiene and consistent data practices.
- Work with relevant departments to improve system workflows and reduce unnecessary manual or repetitive processes.
- Support the documentation and standardisation of improved processes.
3. Sales Planning & Performance
- Track actual sales performance against forecasts, budgets and targets.
- Highlight significant performance gaps, trends and potential risks for Management's attention.
- Prepare regular sales performance dashboards, reports and basic management analysis.
- Support sales forecasting and variance analysis.
- Analyse sales performance, customer trends and relevant market information to identify potential opportunities or gaps.
- Provide accurate data and practical insights to support sales and business planning discussions.
4. Business Performance & Revenue Support
- Support Sales Leadership in reviewing and maintaining commission and incentive-related information.
- Analyse basic customer information, including sales trends, retention and profitability, to support commercial discussions.
- Assist in applying established pricing guidelines and commercial principles in day-to-day operations.
- Support Management and Sales Leadership with relevant data and analysis to improve sales and business performance.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Warehouse and other operational teams to support shared commercial objectives.
- Coordinate across departments to resolve issues affecting branches, dealers, customers and sales performance.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Provide accurate operational and sales information to support planning and decision-making.
- Follow through on agreed actions and ensure issues are brought to proper closure.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in Sales Operations, Order Management, Commercial Operations, Customer Operations, Logistics Coordination or ERP-related support.
- Experience in a multi-branch, dealer/distributor, manufacturing, industrial products or distribution environment will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on exposure to day-to-day operational issues involving stock, order fulfilment, logistics or sales coordination.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, CRM tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Able to work independently with ERP-generated data, Excel reports and operational information to investigate issues, identify root causes and follow through to resolution.
- Comfortable preparing trackers, reports and basic dashboards.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Strong follow-up skills with the willingness to chase issues across different departments.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and operational issues simultaneously.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
The Person We Are Looking For:

- Hands-on and proactive – you prefer getting into the details and solving problems rather than simply escalating them.
- A problem solver – you are naturally curious about why problems happen and how they can be prevented from recurring.
- Commercially aware – you understand that operational issues ultimately affect sales, customers and business performance.
- Comfortable with data – you can work with Excel, ERP information and reports to identify patterns and issues.
- A strong coordinator – you can work calmly with Sales and different operational teams even when priorities are competing.
- Organised – you can manage several open issues and follow through until they are resolved.
- Process-minded – you continuously look for practical ways to improve how work is done.
- Independent – you are comfortable taking ownership and working with limited day-to-day supervision.
- Ambitious – you are eager to learn and develop your career in Sales Operations / Commercial Operations.
