The company are a leading FinTech Software Company, experience huge growth. A multi award winning business across multiple categories their solutions are mainly aimed at the UK SMB market. Following significant investment, they are currently scaling and looking for a Sales Operations Executive to join their already well-established Revenue Operations function to help support the sales team from an administration, support and CRM/Data perspective. As a disrupter in the industry, they are currently growing at an exceptional pace and can offer short-term and long-term progression and development opportunities.

Their revenue organisation spans new business, key account management, internal sales and pre-sales so these are the core functions you will be supporting. Salespeople should be selling. Today, too much of their week goes on order processing, quote building, and chasing paperwork and other departments. This role exists to take that work off them and do it properly, faster and with fewer errors.

You will sit within Revenue Operations and provide the support function for the sales team: processing what has been sold, supporting CRM data integrity, preparing the documents reps need to close, and handling the day-to-day queries that would otherwise pull a salesperson away from a customer conversation. This is a genuine career entry point into Revenue Operations, with the opportunity to develop within the team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Process new orders, upgrades, renewals and cancellations accurately and within agreed turnaround times
  • Set up new accounts, licences and subscriptions, and make sure what the customer receives matches what they bought
  • Raise and issue quotes and order forms on behalf of the sales team
  • Liaise with Finance on billing queries, invoice corrections, credit notes and payment chasing where it touches a live sales conversation
  • Load and cleanse imported data, including lists for campaigns and prospecting
  • Keep company and contact records clean
  • Flag process gaps and recurring data errors to the RevOps Lead so data and process optimisation reviews can be planned
  • Run and distribute recurring sales reports (pipeline, activity, bookings, renewals) to support weekly pipeline reviews, month end and board reporting,
  • Support commission and incentive administration: collate the data, prepare calculations for review, and resolve queries with the relevant manager
  • Act as first point of contact for the sales team's administrative and process questions

Experience Required

  • Experience in sales support, sales administration, order processing or a similar back-office role in a commercial environment
  • Comfortable working in a CRM all day and confident picking up new systems – HubSpot desirable
  • Good working Excel: lookups, filters, tidying and checking imported data
  • Accurate: checks own work, notices when a number looks wrong and flags it rather than quietly fixing it
  • Well organised under competing demands, working to turnaround times and sequencing a queue of requests sensibly
  • Clear written and verbal communication with salespeople and Finance, and occasionally customers when chasing paperwork
  • Sales-facing administrative work is turned around within agreed SLAs
  • Able to create scheduled report that are delivered on time
  • Experience in a SaaS or subscription business, such as order, licence or subscription management
  • Familiarity with billing basics: invoices, credit notes and direct debit
  • Experience improving or documenting a process, not just operating one
