Sales Operations Manager

About the role

Manager, Sales Operations & Logistics for Apple's new-device distribution business operating from a Singapore hub with distribution to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Laos and other emerging markets across South Asia, Central Asia and Indochina. This is a hands-on operational leadership role owning the operational backbone of the business — freight, warehouse and sales operations — end-to-end from vendor pick-up through to in-market handover.

Key responsibilities

• Own the order-to-dispatch cycle for distributor markets; the SKU master, price lists and market allocation matrix; the weekly S&OP / allocation call; and the operational interface with distributors on ETAs, dispatch and documentation
• Manage inbound freight from Apple's origin points and outbound freight to distributor markets; forwarder and 3PL selection and management across air, sea and road; the shipping calendar and lane plan; export documentation; and customs clearance coordination with in-market brokers and distributors
• Partner day-to-day with the warehouse team on receiving, put-away, cycle counts, pick-pack and dispatch; ensure SKU and serial/IMEI-level inventory accuracy; maintain Apple-specific handling, security and brand-protection standards; and plan warehouse capacity
• Manage the operational relationship with Apple's supply chain and logistics counterparts, and a panel of freight forwarders, customs brokers, insurers and 3PLs — including annual re-tendering and SLA tracking
• Ensure export controls, incoterms discipline and sanctions screening; maintain documented SOPs and audit readiness; manage cargo insurance and claims; and produce operational dashboards (OTIF, freight cost per unit, inventory accuracy, cycle time) for leadership

About you

• 6–8 years of progressive experience across distribution, supply chain or logistics operations, with meaningful exposure to freight, warehousing and sales/order operations
• Demonstrated ownership of multi-country outbound distribution — experience in South Asia, Central Asia or Indochina is a strong plus
• Strong working knowledge of Incoterms, air/sea freight, customs documentation, HS classification and destination clearance
• Hands-on experience running or overseeing warehouse operations, including WMS use, cycle counting and serial/IMEI tracking in a secure, high-value environment
• Solid grounding in order management, allocation logic and S&OP in a constrained-supply setting
• Strong vendor management track record with freight forwarders, 3PLs and customs brokers
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to produce executive-grade dashboards
• Excellent written and spoken English, and the confidence to engage OEM counterparts, distributors and senior internal stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field
• Based in Singapore, with willingness to travel occasionally to onward markets
