Sales Operations Officer

General Description

This role bridges sales, operations, and business support functions, taking ownership of sales operation process and cross-functional coordination. The Sales Assistant plays a key role in enhancing sales efficiency, supporting revenue generation, and ensuring seamless execution from opportunity development through to project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts as assigned

• Develop and maintain strong relationship with clients at various levels

• Maintain regular contact with assigned clients, solicit feedback and assist in managing issues that arise

• Maintain and document all account related information in CRM system

• Accountable for after-sales services and coordinate with sales, pre-sales, service delivery, procurement, administration teams and external suppliers to ensure service delivery satisfaction

• Manage maintenance contract and service contract renewals for assigned clients

• Assist tender bidding exercise and collection of market intelligence, customer information, project information

• Manage account receivables

• Providing regular account status report to management

• Develop account management strategies, improvement proposals, campaigns to uplift service quality and identify upsell/cross sell opportunities

• Assist in Marketing activities including but not limited to preparation, update and issuance of pitching materials, presentations, website and social media

• Work closely with Helpdesk and Project team to review the service and project quality for their account and make suggestion for continue improvement on both costs and service quality

• Assist in project finance to their accounts to make sure we have the best cost saving for the project including but not limited to utilisation of the “Non-Stock Inventory” in warehouse to replace new equipment purchase, bulk purchase discount for subcontractors, utilise internal resources as much as possible without compromising on project quality and timeline

Key Skills

• Fluency in written and spoken English, conversational Mandarin desirable

• Excellent self-organisation and task prioritisation skills

• Excellent cross-cultured communication skills and listening ability

• Ability to escalate issues proactively and effectively

• Self-motivated and able to work under deadline pressure

• Presentable, cheerful and out-going personality and ability to be a good team player in a highly dynamic environment

• Willingness to learn and interest in high-tech solutions

Work Experience Requirements

• 2 to 5 years account management, customer service, project management or sales experience

• Experience in technology industry/solutions would be an advantage

• Technology project management experience is highly recommended

Education Requirements

• Degree holder in Business Management, Marketing, IT or related disciplines

• PMP or Prince2 certification is advantage

Compensation Method

• Basic salary + discretionary bonus
