Sales Operations Specialist

About the role

To ensure smooth and timely execution of outgoing orders by coordinating inventory planning, shipment arrangements, warehouse/manufacturing readiness and freight forwarder activities.

The role acts as the key operational link between International Sales and internal departments to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate sales orders from order confirmation through to shipment.
• Plan shipment schedules based on customer requirements, inventory availability and production timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and upcoming export requirements to identify potential shortages or shipment risks.
• Liaise with freight forwarders to arrange FCL, LCL and co-load shipments.
• Coordinate container bookings, loading schedules, cut-off dates and shipping documentation.
• Work closely with Warehouse, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Sales to ensure product availability and shipment readiness.
• Ensure sales orders are accurately processed and released within the required timeline.
• Coordinate shipping and export documentation with relevant internal teams and external parties.
• Monitor order status from PO/SO creation through to loading and shipment.
• Maintain strong working relationships with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders.

About you

• 2–4 years of experience in export operations, logistics, supply chain or order fulfilment.
• SAP experience is a strong advantage, particularly in order processing, inventory visibility and shipment-related transactions.
• Experience coordinating freight forwarders and container shipments.
• Basic understanding of inventory planning, demand planning and supply chain processes.
• Familiarity with FCL, LCL, co-loading and export documentation.
• Strong coordination, follow-up and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Warehouse, Manufacturing and Purchasing.
• Detail-oriented while able to understand the bigger picture of the supply chain.
• Proactive, resourceful and comfortable solving operational issues.
• Good Excel skills.
