What they need
Join our team as a Sales Order Processing (SOPs) Supervisor

With multiple sites across the region, we're on the lookout for a SOPs Supervisor to bring a fresh perspective and excellence to our vibrant team, based in our automated site on the outskirts of Cottingham.
About the role
As a SOPs Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the activities related to the sales, order, and processing of ornamental plants. You will be responsible for driving results through effective communication of job expectations, using trackers to plan activities, monitoring, and appraising results by coaching, and enforcing company policies and safe operating procedures. You will help with a range of day-to-day tasks, but the key responsibilities will include:
· Supervision: Lead and inspire a team to achieve exceptional results in sales order processing and quality control.
· Sales Order Processing: Manage and streamline the sales order process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from order placement to delivery.
· Quality control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to uphold the excellence of our ornamental plants, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
· Problem solving: Tackle challenges head-on, finding innovative solutions to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
· Compliance: Enforce company policies to maintain a high standard of compliance in all sales and processing activities.
About you
The key traits of a good SOPs Supervisor are remaining calm under pressure, organise team tasks and not being afraid to get ‘stuck in’ – it can be physically demanding. The role is ideally suited to someone who:
· Stays cool and collected in high-pressure situations, leading your team to success.
· Exhibits exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
· Brings enthusiasm and a proactive attitude to drive success in a competitive market.
· Meticulously attends to detail, ensuring precision in every aspect of sales order processing.
· Fosters open and effective communication within the team and across departments.
A background in commercial horticulture is an advantage but a role of a similar level with transferable skills will also be considered. Full training will be provided. Full UK driving licence preferable but not essential.
