Sales Order Specialist

AnaSpec is hiring a Sales Order Specialist in Fremont, CA to process orders, answer customer questions, and coordinate order updates with internal teams. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and at least years of customer service experience.

Pay is $25–$26 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits. Training is onsite. A partial hybrid schedule may be available, subject to approval and business needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Taking and entering customer orders into the ordering system FLEXO and SAP
• Maintain and update the customer production status including but not limiting to late project updating, peptide production tracking, and peptide production turn-around time (TAT)
• Enter sales orders daily.
• Follow up on purchase orders that have issues with pricing, unit size, shipping, etc.
• Update customer information in C4C/SAP or enter new customer information in C4C /SAP if needed.
• Close out quotes when customers place their orders.
• Take orders over the telephone. Consistently check e-mail for new online or e-mail orders.
• Help customers with inventory questions and if needed, contact the appropriate department head for information on product availability.
• Perform price checks for the customers when needed.
• When needed, assist with the custom peptides sales orders.Ensure implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of QMS through SOP documentation.
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years’ customer service experience

• Experience with rapidly growing organizations, including meeting recruiting goals and new hire assimilation.
• Able to lift, push, pull up to 25lbs.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate detailed information at all levels both internally and externally.
• Experience in a biotech/pharma company, preferred.

Work Location: Fremont, CA. This position requires onsite attendance during initial training and onboarding. Following successful training, a hybrid schedule may be available, Remote work eligibility is subject to performance, business needs, and manager approval.

Compensation and Benefits: This is an hourly, non-exempt position paying $25–$26 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits.

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
