Community Honda Lafayette is looking for a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Sales Porter / Vehicle Photographer to join our growing team in our brand-new, state-of-the-art dealership facility.

This is an important role within our Sales Department. You will help ensure our inventory is properly presented, photographed, organized, and ready for customers both online and in the showroom. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, enjoys working around vehicles, and is comfortable learning and utilizing new technology.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain the vehicle lot in a neat, organized, and professional manner, moving vehicles as directed by Sales Managers and following dealership display standards.
• Photograph new vehicle inventory using our dealership's professional photo booth technology, ensuring high-quality images are captured and vehicles are properly positioned and presented.
• Ensure new inventory is photographed promptly after arrival and ready for online merchandising.
• Maintain consistency and quality in vehicle photography, including proper vehicle positioning, cleanliness, lighting, and image presentation.
• Ensure all vehicles on the lot and in the showroom are clean, properly positioned, and ready for customer viewing and delivery.
• Verify that window stickers are correctly placed on newly arrived vehicles.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries to customers.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles to and from storage facilities, auctions, other dealerships, and vendors.
• Assist with vehicle movement between departments and dealership locations.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup and vehicle preparation as needed.
• Help maintain dealership buildings, grounds, and inventory areas when required.
• Maintain awareness of vehicle keys and follow dealership procedures for vehicle security.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate automobiles and dealership equipment.
• Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance preferred.
• Comfortable using technology, cameras, computers, and dealership equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
• Ability to safely handle machinery, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to work independently while also being an effective member of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Previous dealership, automotive, lot attendant, detailing, photography, or vehicle merchandising experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
