SALES PROCUREMENT

Purpose/Objective

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Buyer to manage procurement activities for marketing services across diverse categories including Branding & Promotion, Corporate Gifting, Tours & Travel, Events, and Point-of-Purchase (POP) materials.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Key Responsibilities: - Category Management:- Develop and execute procurement strategies for marketing categories such as branding, gifting, events, tours, and POP items.

• Monitor market trends and supplier innovations to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance service quality.
• Vendor Management:- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for various marketing services.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure performance and compliance.
• Procurement Operations:- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including RFQs, bid evaluations, negotiation, Management Approval & purchase orders.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procurement standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:- Work closely with marketing, branding, and finance teams to understand requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
• Support campaign and event planning with timely sourcing of required services and materials.
• Compliance & Reporting:- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and vendor performance.
• Prepare periodic reports on spend analysis, savings, and procurement KPIs.
• Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions - Meticulous in documentation, and following systems and procedures - Proficient in SAP MM module & MS Excel & PowerPoint

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors University Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in marketing services.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Advanced excel & Power BI & data analysis - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of branding, event management, and promotional materials is a plus.
• Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively/convincingly at most levels (including technical and operational) and with most functions in the local language.
• Effective time management, planning and organization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and drive tasks to completion in a fixed timeframe and in a pressured environment.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and build relationships across multiple functions - Ability to deal with ambiguities, conflicts, and adversarial relationships - Basic negotiation skills Preferred Attributes: - Creative mindset with a strong understanding of marketing dynamics.
• Experience in handling vendor contracts and service-level agreements.
• Familiarity with sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.
