About Cooler Master
At Cooler Master, we develop and deliver high-performance hardware solutions for some of the world’s most demanding technology businesses. Our projects span customers, engineering teams, factories, suppliers, and regional organizations across Asia and beyond.
As a Sales Project Manager , you will sit at the center of these projects. You will be responsible for turning customer requirements into executable projects—aligning commercial objectives with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and factory capabilities.
This is not a traditional sales coordination role. We are looking for an experienced project leader who understands how manufacturing works, knows what a factory can and cannot realistically deliver, and can independently drive complex customer projects from initial requirements through NPI and production.
Position Overview
The Sales Project Manager will act as the primary project interface between key customers and Cooler Master's internal teams.
You will:
- Own and drive complex customer projects from initial engagement through NPI, production, and delivery.
- Serve as the central project contact for major global customers and coordinate requirements across sales, engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and factories.
- Translate customer requirements into clear internal project plans, milestones, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, resources, and escalation points.
- Work closely with factories and engineering teams to determine feasibility, capacity, timing, cost, and technical constraints.
- Understand the practical "yes" and "no" of manufacturing and set realistic expectations with customers.
- Proactively identify project risks and drive cross-functional teams toward solutions.
- Maintain strong customer relationships while protecting Cooler Master's operational and commercial interests.
- Travel regularly to APAC manufacturing and customer sites to drive project execution.
This role requires a strong Project Manager mindset : you should be comfortable making decisions, challenging unrealistic requirements, escalating when necessary, and independently pushing projects forward without constant direction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Project Management
- Act as the primary project management interface for assigned strategic customers.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different stages of development and production.
- Establish project scope, milestones, timelines, deliverables, owners, and success criteria.
- Lead regular project reviews with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain clear communication regarding project status, risks, delays, changes, and action items.
- Build credibility with senior customer stakeholders through strong execution and follow-through.
- Understand customer priorities and translate them into actionable internal requirements.
NPI & Manufacturing Project Management
- Lead customer projects through New Product Introduction (NPI) stages, coordinating closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and factory teams.
- Understand key NPI milestones and manufacturing processes, including EVT, DVT, PVT, pilot production, and mass production where applicable.
- Coordinate factory resources to ensure project milestones are achievable and delivered on time.
- Identify manufacturing constraints, resource limitations, capacity issues, and potential production risks early.
- Work with factory teams to develop practical solutions when customer requirements conflict with manufacturing realities.
- Coordinate engineering changes, production issues, quality concerns, and customer requests through appropriate internal channels.
- Ensure customer commitments are aligned with actual factory capability and project readiness.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Engineering, R&D, Product Management, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and manufacturing teams.
- Establish clear ownership and accountability for project deliverables.
- Drive cross-functional meetings and ensure decisions are translated into action.
- Track open issues, dependencies,
