Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with selecting products that meet their needs, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and product knowledge.
• Conduct engaging product demos to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales.
• Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions, cash handling, and cash drawer management with attention to detail.
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the store is well-merchandised to attract customer interest.
• Assist with inventory management by stocking new products, conducting stock counts, and maintaining organized storage areas.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and fostering positive shopping experiences.
• Support team members by supervising store operations when needed, including overseeing POS (Point of Sale) systems and ensuring smooth cashiering procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced environment involving POS systems and retail transactions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, basic math skills, and cash register operations.
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos to enhance the shopping experience.
• Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the store team.
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices essential for building customer loyalty.
• Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and responsibly, including cash drawer handling and cashiering tasks.
