Wavetec is looking for 2 energetic Event Sales Interns!

Are you outgoing, confident, and comfortable starting conversations with people you’ve never met? This could be a great opportunity to gain real-world B2B sales and event experience.

Event: NYSAC 2026 Fall Conference

Dates: September 20–22, 2026

Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: $20-$30/hour

What you’ll do

Your main goal is to help us maximize engagement and generate quality leads at the Wavetec booth.

• Approach and engage conference attendees
• Start friendly conversations and understand their role/interests
• Identify potential prospects and decision-makers
• Collect accurate contact information
• Introduce attendees to the Wavetec team and bring qualified prospects to our booth
• Help create a positive and professional experience around the booth
• Track and report the leads and conversations generated during the event

Who we’re looking for

You don’t need years of sales experience. We’re looking for someone who is:

• Energetic, outgoing, and approachable
• Comfortable speaking with business professionals
• Confident starting conversations
• Professional and well-presented
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Interested in sales, business development, marketing, or technology
• Able to work on your feet and stay engaged throughout the event

The goal:

Don’t wait for people to come to the booth. Go out, start conversations, identify opportunities, and bring the right people back to Wavetec.
