About Dam It Defense

We build and install custom aluminum flood barrier systems that stand at the door and hold water back. We started in St. Petersburg after watching our own neighbors get hit, and we have grown because homeowners trust us to show up before the storm and after it. We are now expanding into South Florida and looking for the person who will represent us in Miami, Broward County, and down through the Keys.

The Role

You will sit at kitchen tables with homeowners, walk their property, and assess where water gets in. Then you will explain what a custom flood barrier system can and cannot do for their home, honestly, and help them decide.

This is in-home consultative sales, not phone work and not door-to-door cold calling. Most of your appointments come from homeowners who already raised their hand and asked for an assessment.

No flood experience required. We train you. If you can hold a real conversation, listen more than you talk, and follow a process, we can teach you the rest.

What You'll Do

• Run scheduled in-home flood assessments across South Florida
• Measure openings, document conditions, and photograph problem areas
• Explain our systems and build an accurate quote
• Follow up with homeowners through their decision and hand off cleanly to our install team
• Keep your pipeline and notes current in our CRM
• Represent Dam It Defense at community events and local partnerships as needed

Who We're Looking For

• Comfortable being in people's homes and earning trust quickly
• Able to cover a territory from Key West through Broward County.
• Valid Florida driver's license, reliable vehicle, clean driving record
• Self-managed. You will be the face of our company down here without a manager down the hall
• Comfortable with a phone, a tablet, and a CRM
• Available for increased volume during hurricane season
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a strong plus
• Sales experience in home services (roofing, impact windows, solar, HVAC, remodeling) is helpful but not required
