As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in driving sales, assisting customers, and maintaining an organized store environment. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions
• Assist in merchandising products to enhance store displays and drive sales
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits
• Maintain inventory levels through stocking and organizing merchandise
• Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Support supervisory staff in training new associates and maintaining team morale
• Utilize retail math skills for inventory management and sales reporting
• Upsell products by identifying opportunities based on customer preferences

Skills

• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively
• Experience with POS systems and cashiering processes
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory calculations
• Retail sales experience
• Ability to perform merchandising tasks effectively
• Knowledge of stocking procedures and inventory management
• Supervising experience is a plus for potential leadership opportunities
• Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
• Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone
