Sales Representative

Duties

• Engage with customers in retail or on-route settings to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
• Build and maintain lasting client relationships through effective communication and personalized service
• Conduct upselling by identifying additional products or services that benefit the customer, increasing overall sales volume
• Manage pricing strategies and provide accurate quotations based on customer requirements and company policies
• Safely operate commercial vehicles for transportation of automobiles or merchandise, adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe driving practices
• Perform heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when handling merchandise or equipment, ensuring safety at all times
• Organize and merchandise products in retail stores or during route deliveries to maximize visibility and sales potential
• Maintain organized routes for route driving, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with all traffic laws and organizational standards
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues, and optimize sales opportunities
• Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring product availability across assigned locations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or related roles; retail store experience is highly valued
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse customers
• Basic math skills for pricing calculations, invoicing, and order processing
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or route driving is preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and transportation safety standards
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage routes, schedules, and inventory efficiently
• Familiarity with merchandising techniques and client relationship building strategies
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $30,000.00 - $250,000.00 per week
