Sales Representative

Sales People are responsible for generating revenue by finding and cultivating new customers to maximize revenue and profit. They will also be responsible for assisting with marketing plans. The majority of the sales emphasis will be on data networking equipment, but there will also be a requirement to pursue structured cabling opportunities.

Data networking will include the entire line of Cisco products, HPE SAN’s, PCs, multiple wireless solutions, Microsoft products and other peripheral products. Structured Cabling will include data and voice cabling, fiber optic cabling for both inside and outside as well as computer room design. Security cameras and access control consist of Axis, Hanwha and Genetec.

This is a full-time, salary + compensation position with benefits.

Requirements

The qualified candidate should have:

At least 2 years experience selling technology to customers.

Ability to generate technical equipment quotes for customers

Knowledge of Cisco equipment. Cisco certifications are a plus.

The ability and incentive to cold call, follow-up leads from others and cultivate revenue from new customers.

Have a good working knowledge of productivity tools, ie. Microsoft Office, CRM, etc.

Possess the ability to forecast and track revenue.

Have the ability to communicate well with a variety of people within the business (technicians, engineers, managers, etc.)

Other Requirements

Occasional overnight travel will be necessary.

The qualified candidate must have a reliable, appropriate vehicle. Wire Technologies, Inc. will expense mileage on employee owned vehicle.

Salary will be based on experience.
