Sales Representative

Overview
Farmers Roofing is seeking an energetic, motivated, and customer-focused Roofing Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating leads, building strong relationships with customers, and conducting roof and property inspections. You will serve as the customer’s guide throughout the roofing process, from the initial conversation through project completion.

Key Responsibilities

● Generate leads through events, networking, referrals, and other business development opportunities.

● Schedule and conduct appointments with homeowners and deliver professional sales presentations.

● Perform in-person roof inspections, assess damage, and recommend appropriate solutions.

● Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships through effective communication and personalized service.

● Develop strong knowledge of roofing products, services, and basic insurance and retail workflows.

● Prepare, write, and review contracts with accuracy and professionalism.

● Track and manage all sales activity using our internal CRM system.

● Follow up with leads and maintain consistent communication with homeowners from the initial visit through project completion.

● Communicate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

● Represent Farmers Roofing professionally at local events and within the community.

Qualifications

● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation capable of safely transporting a ladder.

● Comfortable working outdoors, climbing ladders, and accessing residential roofs.

● Ability to climb ladders and walk sloped roofs safely and unassisted.

● Available to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.

● Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet with homeowners.

● Prior sales or customer service experience preferred.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Professional, organized, punctual, and self-motivated.

● Coachable mindset with a strong willingness to learn.

● Strong technology skills and the ability to learn and effectively use CRM software.

● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying outdoor conditions.

Compensation & Benefits

● 50, 000–125,000+ annual earning potential

● Base salary and/or commission-based compensation, depending on the selected pay

structure
