Job Title: Commission-Only Sales Representative — Dirt Work & Foundations

About Us:
Crosscut Construction is a self-perform heavy civil contractor based in Cypress, TX, specializing in excavation, site work, land clearing, concrete foundations, and pre-engineered metal buildings across Southeast Texas.

The Role:
We're hiring a sales representative to generate and close new business specifically for dirt work, site preparation, and foundation projects across our service area.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business with builders, developers, and general contractors needing site work, grading, land clearing, or foundation work
• Build and manage a pipeline of active deals
• Represent Crosscut's capabilities and pricing to prospective clients
• Coordinate with ops/estimating on scoping and bids

Requirements:

• Experience selling into construction (site work, foundations, concrete, or a related trade) strongly preferred
• Existing network among builders/GCs/developers in the Houston/Southeast Texas market a plus
• Self-starter comfortable with commission-based compensation
• Reliable transportation

Compensation:
7% of gross profit on closed deals — better than anywhere else in the market, uncapped. For highly qualified reps with an existing book of business, we're willing to go beyond straight commission (base + commission negotiable).
