Duties

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communication and personalized service
• Present, promote, and upsell products or services to meet client needs and maximize sales opportunities
• Conduct route driving to visit retail stores, client locations, or delivery points efficiently and safely
• Assist customers with product selection, pricing inquiries, and providing detailed information on features and benefits
• Follow safe lifting practices when handling merchandise or heavy items during merchandising or delivery tasks
• Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations during commercial driving activities
• Manage merchandising displays, organize stock, and ensure products are well-presented to attract customer interest
• Build long-term customer relationships through excellent service and follow-up communication
• Coordinate automobile transportation logistics for deliveries or client pickups as needed
• Maintain organizational skills to keep accurate records of sales activities, route schedules, and client interactions

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving or route driving preferred
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and basic math skills for transactions and calculations
• Strong communication skills for effective client communication and teamwork
• Experience in retail store environments or customer service roles highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
• Familiarity with merchandising, route planning, and organizational skills for efficient operations
• Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving is a plus
• Background in military service or experience in customer-focused roles is advantageous
• Excellent driving record with experience in commercial driving or heavy vehicle operation
