We're searching for a warm, people-loving Sales Representative to be the friendly voice of Ready Kids, all from home and in the middle of the day.

The Role in a Nutshell

• Pick up the phone – Call childcare centres, both new prospects and past customers, and start real conversations.
• Dig a little deeper – Listen for what's really going on at the centre and name the problem so clearly they say "yes, that's it!"
• Match & explain – Match what they need to one of our packages and walk them through it in plain language.
• Follow up like a pro – Build relationships over time with disciplined, useful follow-up.
• Keep it tidy – Clear, concise notes in our CRM so the team can pick up the handoff cleanly.
• Hand it over – Pass interested centres smoothly to the rest of the team.

You'll Thrive If You…

• Have phone-based sales experience (cold calling, outbound, appointment setting or lead nurture by phone). This one's essential.
• Genuinely love talking to people – people like chatting with you, and you like chatting with them.
• See selling as matching the right people to the right thing, not pushing.
• Can follow a script but stay human – natural, not recited, and quick on your feet when something unexpected comes up.
• Know your numbers – you can quote your last role's call volume, conversation rate and close rate.
• Are resilient – voicemails and "not interested" don't ruin your day.
• Do what you say – when you say you'll call back, you do.
• Are a self-starter who takes feedback well and loves to grow.
• Have a quiet home workspace, reliable internet and your own laptop.
• Bonus: experience in childcare, early childhood education or allied health.
