Sales Support Representative Location: Pasadena, TX 77503

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Work arrangement: Fully on-site

Duration: 3 months

Pay: $29–$31 per hour, depending on experience

Potential for conversion: Possible, based on staffing needs. This role is covering an employee on leave.

Our client is seeking a resourceful, motivated Sales Support Representative to assist customers with parts, pricing, and service inquiries for control valves, isolation valves, and related equipment. These products support industrial applications such as refineries, chemical plants, and power generation facilities.

In this role, you’ll support the Valve Division by entering orders accurately in Oracle ERP, preparing parts quotations, communicating with customers, and resolving order-related issues in a fast-paced maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) environment.

What You’ll Do

• Process and manage customer parts orders accurately in Oracle ERP.
• Keep customers informed about order status, lead times, delivery details, and issues.
• Build product knowledge of valves, parts, and services to respond to inquiries and prepare parts quotations.
• Take initiative to resolve order issues, working collaboratively and persistently while following established procedures.
• Offer alternative supply or delivery options when products are unavailable.
• Negotiate customer terms within established guidelines, including lead times, delivery terms, and payment terms.
• Help resolve accounts receivable issues by clearly communicating payment requirements.
• Work closely with sales, inventory, repair, manufacturing, shipping, engineering, and customers to resolve order-status issues.
• Maintain accurate, current, and organized order records and supporting documentation.
• Work independently and manage competing priorities in a high-pressure MRO environment.

What You’ll Bring

• A college degree or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Experience in customer service, inside sales, order management, parts sales, quoting, or industrial MRO is preferred.
• Oracle ERP experience is a strong plus.
• Experience with Microsoft systems is required.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Effective time management and the ability to meet short deadlines.
• Sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build productive customer relationships.
