Sales Representative – A to Z Moving and Storage, Inc.

ABOUT THE ROLE

A to Z Moving and Storage, Inc. is hiring a part-time Sales Representative to turn moving inquiries into booked jobs. You'll be the first person customers talk to: answering calls, building quotes, and helping them pick the right services for their move.

If you like talking with people, can explain things clearly, and enjoy earning more when you sell more, this role is for you. No moving industry experience needed; we'll train you.

SCHEDULE AND PAY

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (34 Hours per Week)
• Base pay: $22 per hour
• Bonuses: Paid for upselling added services
• Location: In Office @ 41 Chapin Street, West Springfield MA 01089

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Answer incoming calls, emails, and web inquiries from people planning a move
• Ask the right questions to understand each move: size, distance, timing, and special items
• Prepare clear, accurate quotes and walk customers through them
• Recommend added services that genuinely help, like full packing, boxes and supplies, storage, and furniture disassembly
• Follow up on open quotes and leads to book jobs
• Schedule booked moves and pass details to dispatch
• Keep customer notes and lead status up to date in our system
• Handle customer questions and concerns with patience and a friendly attitude

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

• Confident, friendly phone manner and clear writing
• Comfortable asking for the sale and following up
• Organized and reliable with details like dates, addresses, and pricing
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, or a CRM)
• Available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM and Saturday 8AM to 12PM

Nice to have:

• Experience in sales, customer service, or a call center
• Background in moving, logistics, or home services
• Bilingual (English and Spanish or another language)
