Sales Representative - Community Solar

We're seeking a results-driven Sales Representative (Community Solar) to join our team! In this role, you'll play a vital part in connecting residential and small business customers with the benefits of local community solar farms.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residential (and occasionally small business) customers across Kandiyohi and surrounding counties
• Explain the financial & environmental benefits of community solar
• Meet and exceed sales targets by converting prospects into subscribers

Requirements

• Previous sales experience preferred (energy sector a plus, but not required).
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable learning and explaining technical concepts.

Community solar allows Xcel customers to opt-in and receive credits at a discount (5-20%) from a local solar garden without having to install any panels at their home. It provides access to renters and lower income households who traditionally, could not benefit from solar installations. Customers can save money on electricity every month, without having any out of pocket enpenses! Founded in 2021, we operate in 10 states in the midwest and northeast!

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
