Sales Representative (Construction)

American Builders Inc. specializes in structural concrete, seismic retrofit, structural rehabilitation, and adaptive reuse projects throughout Southern California. We are looking for a motivated and relationship-oriented professional to help expand our business by identifying new project opportunities and building strong relationships with general contractors (GCs).

Responsibilities

• Research and identify upcoming and active construction projects that align with the company's services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, estimators, preconstruction teams, and project managers.
• Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, networking, and industry events to introduce the company and its capabilities.
• Get American Builders added to bidders lists and secure invitations to bid on qualified projects.
• Monitor construction bidding platforms, project announcements, and industry resources for new opportunities.
• Follow up with general contractors on bid invitations, submitted proposals, project awards, and future projects.
• Maintain an organized database of project leads, contacts, and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate with the estimating and operations teams to identify and pursue suitable projects.
• Help grow the company's network, strengthen existing relationships, and generate repeat business.
