Your Job at Laser Components

• Serving as the interface between our customers and state-of-the-art coating technology
• Working with our customers to develop solutions for demanding optical applications and supporting projects from the initial inquiry through to successful completion.
• Selling our own products and those of our international partners.
• Independent customer service, including consultation, preparing quotes, and closing contracts.
• Managing and developing our customer base in the DACH region, as well as establishing and maintaining strategic key accounts
• Monitoring market and technology trends in the fields of lasers, optics, and photonics, and tapping into new markets
• Conducting customer visits, technical presentations, and participating in trade shows

What You Bring With You

• A technical degree or vocational training in laser technology, photonics, physics, or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, experience with laser optics, optical components, or high-power laser systems
• Some experience in technical sales is a plus
• Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with customers and addressing technical issues
• Willingness to travel within the sales territory and enjoyment of working in both field and office-based roles
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is advantageous
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
