Service Sales Manager

London | £60,000–£65,000 + bonus | Permanent | Field-based

We’re recruiting for an established international engineering business looking for an experienced Service Sales Manager to grow its HVAC service business across London.

This is a technical sales role focused on developing an existing customer and installed equipment base while generating new service opportunities with end users, building owners and facilities managers.

The Service Sales Manager will combine site surveys, technical proposals, account development and commercial sales across maintenance, commissioning, remedial works, optimisation and replacement equipment.

What you'll be doing

• Develop service revenue across an established customer and installed equipment base
• Visit customer sites, survey equipment and identify service or upgrade opportunities
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for larger works
• Follow up quotations and take opportunities through to close
• Develop maintenance and service contracts with existing and new customers
• Sell commissioning, remedial works and replacement HVAC equipment
• Promote energy optimisation and remote monitoring solutions
• Manage existing accounts, contract renewals and additional works
• Build and maintain an accurate CRM pipeline
• Manage monthly sales targets, forecasts and expected revenue
• Work closely with engineering, field service and internal sales teams

What we're looking for

The Service Sales Manager will need proven experience within the HVAC service industry and the ability to combine technical understanding with strong commercial sales capability.

You should also have:

• Proven experience selling HVAC service, maintenance or remedial works
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC equipment
• Experience with pumps, pressurisation equipment, booster sets or similar plant
• Confidence carrying out site surveys and discussing technical requirements with customers
• Experience developing existing accounts and generating new business
• A track record of building and managing a sales pipeline
• Strong commercial, communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to work independently across a regional territory
• Full, clean UK driving licence

This is not a general sales role. We’re looking for someone who understands HVAC service technically and has proven experience turning customer requirements and installed equipment into service revenue.

Salary: £60,000–£65,000 + bonus scheme

Contract: Permanent

Working pattern: Field-based with regular customer and site visits
