Sales Specification Manager (Construction / Building Materials)

Responsibilities

• Engage key stakeholders (architects, consultants, developers, main contractors, and relevant authorities) during concept and design phases to secure product specifications and regulatory approvals.

• Track and manage project pipelines to drive timely conversion from early specification stages to finalized contracts.

• Conduct market research, evaluate competitor market share and positioning, and develop strategic counter-strategies to establish product benchmarks.

• Partner with the R&D team by providing market trend insights and customer feedback to guide strategic product innovation and pricing structures.

• Support brand marketing and sales objectives by participating in industry trade fairs, seminars, advertising, and client engagement initiatives.

• Maintain accurate reporting on project conversion statuses, market activities, and new business leads.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Structural / Building / Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in product or system specification work within the construction industry.

• Established network of active contacts among architects, engineers, and building consultants.

• Sound knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and design compliance standards across South East Asia.

• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and project specifications.

• Possess own vehicle and willingness to travel for client engagements; bilingual capability is an added advantage.
