Sales - Student Recruit

About the role

This role involves driving student recruitment by reaching out to and counselling potential university students, while supporting existing students to advance to the next stage of their education at the University. You will achieve sales targets set by management, plan and oversee departmental events such as Open Days and Public Exhibitions, and implement initiatives to enhance team performance and development.

Key responsibilities

• Drive student recruitment by reaching out to and counselling potential university students
• Support existing students by encouraging them to advance to the next stage of their education at the University
• Achieve the sales targets set by management
• Plan, manage, and oversee departmental events such as Open Days and Public Exhibitions
• Implement initiatives and activities within the Sales team to enhance performance and team development
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Perform duties in accordance with the policies and systems established by the Sales Department

About you

• Preferably holds a Bachelor's Degree in any field
• Prior experience in Recruitment, Sales or Education is an advantage
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar systems
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin or Tamil is an added advantage
• Friendly, approachable, and open-minded personality
• Digitally and numerically literate; comfortable working with technology and data
• Passionate about education, with some understanding of Malaysia's education industry being a plus
• Willing to learn and driven to succeed
