Sales Support

We are looking for a Sales Support specialist to join a contract opportunity in California within the manufacturing industry. This role supports the sales process by assisting customers, coordinating orders, and helping the team respond quickly to inbound and outbound sales activity. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable handling post-sale follow-up while keeping order information accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day assistance to the sales team by managing customer communications and helping move opportunities through the sales cycle.

• Respond to incoming inquiries with timely, attentive service and direct customers to appropriate products, pricing, or next steps.

• Conduct outbound outreach to support lead follow-up, customer engagement, and ongoing account activity.

• Enter customer orders accurately into internal systems and verify details to reduce processing errors or delays.

• Coordinate post-sale support by addressing order questions, tracking updates, and helping resolve customer concerns.

• Maintain organized sales records and customer information to support reporting and smooth handoffs across teams.

• Work closely with internal departments to confirm product availability, order status, and delivery-related information.

• Assist with quote preparation, order documentation, and other administrative tasks that help the sales function operate efficiently.

• Experience in sales support, inside sales, customer service, or a related commercial support role.

• Working knowledge of inbound sales, outbound sales, and post-sales customer support activities.

• Strong accuracy in order entry and documentation management.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented customer-facing approach.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Comfortable using business systems and standard office software to track orders and customer interactions.

• Strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset when working with sales and operations teams.
