Sales Support Coordinator

DAEMCO Australia is a rapidly growing company that manufactures and distributes civil infrastructure products to the Water, Sewer and Irrigation Industry. Based in Tullamarine, we are seeking a reliable and organised Sales Support Coordinator to process sales orders, customer enquiries, quote preparation and general customer service support. The ideal candidate will have a trade background within a product based industry, with strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Coordinate with sales, customers, warehouse and supply chain teams to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfillment.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all product, pricing, delivery and customer requirements are captured correctly and communicated to the relevant teams.
• Provide prompt, professional and helpful responses to customer enquiries and requests via phone and email.
• Prepare accurate quotations based on customer requirements, pricing and product availability.
• Finalise customer invoices, ensuring pricing, quantities and customer details are correct.
• Follow up outstanding customer orders and delivery lead times to ensure customers are kept informed and orders are fulfilled efficiently and on time.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams regarding product availability, pricing and lead times.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to provide a high level of customer service.
• Provide knowledgeable product support and guidance to customer enquiries.

Skills and experience

• Experience in a similar role from within a trade product based industry
• Experience in the civil plumbing industry would be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Experience in Xero / MYOB Accounting Software advantageous.
