About the Role

C3 Automation is looking for a Sales Support Engineer to strengthen our technical support capabilities for the sales team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial automation project execution and a good understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA, drives and industrial communication systems.

This is primarily a technical support role for the sales team, where you will help convert customer requirements into technically feasible solutions, demonstrate solutions, validate architectures and provide technical support throughout the sales and project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Presales Support

· Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.

· Support sales engineers during customer meetings and technical discussions.

· Prepare technical architectures, BOMs, specifications, solution proposals and technical presentations.

· Assist in product selection and solution sizing.

· Review customer specifications and identify suitable technical solutions.

· Support technical clarifications with customers, consultants and end users.

Demo & Solution Validation

· Conduct product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).

· Develop and validate automation architectures before proposal submission.

· Create small demo/test setups to demonstrate proposed solutions.

· Validate interoperability between PLC, HMI, SCADA, drives and communication networks.

· Support the sales team in technical presentations and solution pitching.

Automation Expertise

· Focus primarily on Schneider Electric automation systems.

· Good understanding of PLC/PAC, HMI, SCADA, VFDs and industrial networking.

· Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, Ethernet/IP, OPC and similar protocols.

· Ability to understand control philosophies, system architectures and basic automation requirements.

Post-Sales Technical Support

· Provide technical support to customers and the sales/project team after order placement.

· Support engineering teams during implementation, FAT/SAT and commissioning when required.

· Assist with troubleshooting and technical issue resolution.

· Conduct basic customer training and product/solution workshops.

Candidate Requirements

· Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation or related engineering discipline.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial automation project execution/delivery.

· Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA or related automation systems.

· Schneider Electric automation experience is highly preferred.

· Strong technical understanding and troubleshooting capability.

· Good communication and presentation skills.

· Comfortable interacting with customers and supporting sales teams.

· UAE experience is not mandatory; candidates with relevant experience from India or other countries are welcome.

· Willingness to travel within UAE for customer meetings, demonstrations and site support when required.

· Salary: Up to AED 4,000/month inclusive of all allowances, depending on experience and technical capability.

The person should be able to take a customer requirement from the sales team, understand the technical need, propose an appropriate architecture, demonstrate/validate the solution and provide the necessary technical support to help the sales team win the opportunity.
