Sales Support Executive (Freight Forwarding)

About the Role

A growing freight forwarding company is looking for a Sales Support & Customer Service Executive to join their team. In this role, you will support the sales team, manage customer inquiries, and coordinate shipments across air, sea, and land freight. You will be the bridge between customers, operations, and overseas partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and provide timely shipment updates
• Prepare and follow up on quotations for air, sea, and land freight
• Coordinate bookings with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents
• Monitor shipment progress and ensure timely delivery
• Liaise with operations teams to resolve shipment issues and delays
• Prepare and check shipping documents and customer requirements
• Support the sales team with rate requests, reports, and customer data
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide excellent service
• Handle customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and documentation filing
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and freight forwarding regulations
• Perform other administrative and support duties as assigned

Requirements

Essential

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or customer service
• Knowledge of air, sea, and land freight operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service oriented with a proactive attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
