Sales Support - Industrial Heating Controls

Process Control & Automation Industry Location: Milwaukie, OR

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00/hr DOE

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday

THE OPPORTUNITY: Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a well-established company specializing in process control, instrumentation, and industrial automation solutions. We're seeking a motivated Sales Support - Heating Controls professional who enjoys combining technical knowledge with customer service and relationship-building. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electrical, automation, or industrial background looking to grow their career in technical sales while working alongside an experienced team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Provide technical sales support to customers seeking instrumentation and automation solutions
• Assist customers in selecting products based on their applications and technical requirements
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and product recommendations
• Work closely with customers to identify opportunities for additional products and services
• Develop a strong understanding of industrial process control, instrumentation, and automation systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project support
• Help drive sales growth through solution-based selling and customer education
• Maintain accurate records, forecasts, and customer communications

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

• Experience in technical sales, industrial sales, inside sales, or customer support within a technical environment
• Background in electrical systems, automation, controls, instrumentation, or industrial manufacturing preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to understand customer needs and recommend technical solutions
• Basic computer proficiency
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Electrical or Automation Engineering background
• Experienced Electrical, Automation, or Industrial Technician looking to transition into sales
• Familiarity with industrial instrumentation, process controls, or temperature measurement applications
• Knowledge of industrial networking or automation systems is a plus
