🚀 Sales Support & Administration Team Leader | Cape Town

📍 Cape Town, South Africa | Permanent | Full-Time | Hybrid

Trustmarque Ultima is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Sales Support & Administration Team Leader to join our Cape Town operation and lead a team of around 12 talented colleagues supporting our UK Sales and Commercial teams.

This is much more than a traditional team management role. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how our Sales Support function operates, develop your people, improve processes and play an important role in the continued growth of our South African operation.

What you'll be doing

You’ll lead, coach and develop a team covering Sales Administration, Quoting and Order Processing , ensuring they deliver a high-quality, responsive service to our UK sales organisation.

Your role will include:

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of around 12 people.
• Creating a high-performing culture built around accountability, collaboration and service excellence.
• Working closely with UK Sales, Commercial, Procurement, Finance, Alliances and Delivery teams.
• Managing workload, priorities and resource allocation across the team.
• Ensuring quotes, orders and sales administration are delivered accurately and on time.
• Monitoring service levels, productivity, quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.
• Supporting automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Developing capability through effective onboarding, training and career development.
• Acting as an escalation point for operational and people matters.
• Contributing as a member of the Trustmarque Ultima South Africa Leadership Team .

What we're looking for

We’re looking for an experienced people leader who understands the world of technology sales operations and knows how to build a team that delivers.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience leading an operational, sales support or sales administration team.
• Experience within an MSP, IT VAR, technology distributor or technology services organisation .
• Strong understanding of quoting, order processing and commercial/sales administration.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for coaching and developing people.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to challenge how things are done.
• Experience supporting UK-based sales teams would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of technology licensing, cloud or managed services would be a bonus.
