SALES TECHNICAL REPRESENTATIVE

About the role

To promote and sell the company's products by providing technical advice and solutions to customers, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Identify new sales opportunities and follow up on sales enquiries.
• Understand customers' technical requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions.
• Prepare quotations, product proposals and sales reports.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and technical discussions with customers.
• Coordinate with internal departments on orders, deliveries and technical requirements.
• Visit customers, project sites and construction sites when required.
• Follow up on quotations, projects and outstanding orders to achieve sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve product or technical issues.

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, Construction or a related field preferred.
• Experience in technical sales, hardware, construction, engineering or related industries will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to understand and explain technical product information.
• Good negotiation and presentation skills.
• Independent, proactive and target-oriented.
• Willing to travel for customer and site visits.
• Possess a valid driving licence where required.
