Salesforce B2B Commerce - Technical Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead Salesforce B2B Commerce to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade B2B Commerce solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Salesforce technologies, modern web development, headless commerce architecture, and enterprise integrations. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can mentor development teams, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive best practices across the software development lifecycle.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, customization, and implementation of Salesforce B2B Commerce solutions.
• Configure and develop Salesforce application components, workflows, Lightning components, and custom functionalities.
• Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.
• Lead technical discussions and provide architectural guidance for scalable and secure Salesforce Commerce implementations.
• Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Azure Integration Services, and middleware platforms.
• Integrate Salesforce B2B Commerce with CMS, PIM, SAP ERP, payment gateways, tax services, and WMS/3PL systems.
• Drive implementation of Headless Commerce architecture using API-driven frontend and backend integrations.
• Review application architecture, perform technical code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, QA, DevOps, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure Salesforce security, governance, performance optimization, and compliance with development standards.
• Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership throughout project execution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development with strong expertise in Salesforce B2B Commerce.
• Strong hands-on experience with APEX, Salesforce configuration, Flows, and custom development.
• Mandatory experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with JEST testing framework is preferred.
• Mandatory experience with GitHub version control.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and software design principles.
• Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and modern web technologies.
• Hands-on experience implementing Headless Commerce and API-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating Salesforce Commerce with CMS, PIM, SAP ERP, payment gateways, tax engines, and WMS/3PL solutions.
• Strong experience in RESTful APIs, web services, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing, static code analysis, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience conducting technical design reviews and code reviews.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and delivery-focused environment.
