Salesforce Business Analyst

The Salesforce Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from clients and stakeholders, translating them into functional Salesforce solutions. This role serves as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring business needs are accurately communicated, business processes are optimized, and Salesforce solutions are successfully designed, implemented, and continuously improved.

Revised Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements from stakeholders.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements gathering sessions.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using Salesforce.
• Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, QA, and Project Managers to deliver Salesforce solutions that meet business objectives.
• Validate solution designs to ensure alignment with business requirements and Salesforce best practices.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, training, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Monitor project progress and assist in managing requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recommend Salesforce best practices and continuous process improvements to maximize business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Salesforce implementation or CRM projects.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience in business process mapping, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
• Salesforce Business Analyst Certification, Salesforce Administrator Certification, or other Salesforce certifications are a plus.
