Fulltime** Job Summary The Salesforce Cutover Manager is responsible for planning and leading all activities required to transition from legacy systems to Salesforce (and between Salesforce orgs/environments) with minimal disruption to business operations. This role owns the cutover strategy, detailed cutover plan, and golive execution, coordinating technology, business, and vendor teams to ensure a controlled, successful deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the endtoend Salesforce cutover strategy, including scope, timelines, dependencies, environments, and resource needs.
• Develop and maintain a detailed cutover plan covering data migration, integrations, configuration/deployment, user readiness, and rollback scenarios.
• Coordinate all cutover activities across IT, Salesforce admins/developers, integration teams, data teams, and business stakeholders.
• Lead cutover rehearsals / mock runs to validate runbooks, timings, dependencies, and issue resolution processes.
• Oversee Salesforce release and deployment activities (e.g., change sets, DevOps pipelines, metadata deployments) across sandboxes and production.
• Manage data migration workstreams, including data loads, data validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution.
• Ensure integration readiness by coordinating interface freezes, endpoint changes, connection tests, and endtoend integration validation.
• Run cutover command center / war room during golive, tracking progress, managing issues, and making realtime decisions against the plan.
• Establish and manage clear go/nogo criteria and decision points with project and business leadership.
• Coordinate hypercare support immediately postgolive, including incident triage, prioritization, and handover to steadystate support.
• Provide regular status updates and clear communication to executives, business sponsors, and project governance forums before, during, and after cutover.
• Identify cutover risks and issues early, propose mitigation options, and maintain risk/issue logs related to cutover scope.

Required Qualifications And Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT project delivery, with at least 2-3 years focused on cutover, release management, or golive management for CRM or enterprise platforms.
• Handson experience with Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce products) in a multienvironment setup (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce deployment and release processes (e.g., change sets, Salesforce DevOps tools, metadata/APIbased deployments).
• Demonstrated experience planning and executing complex cutovers involving data migration, integrations, and business process change.
• Solid knowledge of data migration concepts (data mapping, ETL, validation, reconciliation, defect management).
• Proven ability to coordinate crossfunctional teams and manage activities in highpressure, timeboxed golive windows (evenings/weekends as needed).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communicating technical concepts and cutover risks to nontechnical stakeholders and executives.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira/Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, MS Project, Confluence, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales/Service Consultant, or Deployment/DevOpsrelated certs).
• Experience in largescale Salesforce programs (multicloud, multiorg, or global rollouts).
• Familiarity with ITIL, service transition, and release/change management practices.
• Experience in related cloud or ERP cutovers (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) is a plus.
