Salesforce Data Analyst

The analyst will apply experience with Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Service Cloud to analy ze data involving accounts, contacts, opportunities , and other critical business data entities and processes. The analyst will translate business requirements and data-quality concerns into meaningful analysis, report s , dashboards, and recommendations.

Routine Activities

• Develop queries and analytical datasets using appropriate Salesforce reporting, querying, and analytical tools.

• Analyze Salesforce data to identify inaccurate, incomplete, duplicate, inconsistent, or outdated records.

• Monitor data-quality metrics and trends across Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Service Cloud.

• Develop and maintain recurring data-quality reports, dashboards, and scorecards.

• Investigate data anomalies and exceptions and determine their potential business impact.

• Perform root-cause analysis to distinguish between data-entry issues, process deficiencies, system configuration issues, integration problems, and other sources of data-quality degradation.

• Partner with Salesforce Data Stewards to validate issues, prioritize remediation, and track resolution.

• Identify emerging data-quality risks before they materially affect business operations or reporting.

• Conduct data profiling and analysis to support data-quality initiatives, audits, and remediation projects.

• Establish and maintain appropriate data-quality measurements and thresholds in collaboration with the Data Quality Manager.

• Reconcile Salesforce data with other systems when discrepancies are identified.

• Assess the downstream impact of Salesforce data-quality issues on reporting, forecasting, customer management, revenue operations, and service processes.

• Support analysis of historical data and trends to identify recurring or systemic data-quality problems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 2-5 years of experience working with Salesforce data analysis, business analysis, CRM analytics , and data quality .

• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and recurring analytical outputs.

• Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce SOQL , SQL, and Excel.

• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills with e xcellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to explain data and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
