Salesforce Developer

About the role

As a Salesforce Developer, you will be part of the team providing support for the Manila office. In this role you will be responsible for design, development, maintenance and ongoing support for the organisation's new custom Salesforce platform, supporting a key area of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and deploy complex custom-built solutions on the Salesforce platform
• Development of Salesforce applications in APEX programming language and Lightning Web Components
• Demonstrate technical knowledge and expertise of Salesforce platform, framework, and ecosystem
• Write clean maintainable Apex code as part of a continuous integration and delivery process
• Design and develop Web Service or RESTful APIs
• Write Apex unit tests and maintain a high level of code test coverage
• Custom UI development (LWC, Apex controllers, client-server interaction patterns)
• API integration (Salesforce REST API usage, error handling and retry logic, webhooks/outbound messaging, JSON/XML handling)

About you

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Great attention to detail
• Strong time management and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and professionally in a highly disciplined manner
• Ability to work as a team
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Salesforce Best Practices using Apex and Lightning Framework
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Salesforce APIs and integrating with internal/external applications
• Experience with version control software such as GIT, JIRA and Confluence
