Duties

• Develop, customize, and optimize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce tools to meet business requirements.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems through APIs, REST services, and other middleware solutions to ensure data consistency and real-time updates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Maintain version control using SVN or GitHub, ensuring code quality and proper documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of Salesforce applications to maximize efficiency.
• Support deployment processes by managing release cycles, conducting testing, and ensuring smooth transitions between environments.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and industry best practices to continually improve system functionality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on application development within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, C, VBA, and.NET frameworks.
• Hands-on experience working with APIs (RESTful services), SQL databases (MySQL, MS SQL), and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with version control systems including GitHub and SVN for managing code repositories.
• Knowledge of front-end development techniques including Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Visualforce pages.
• Experience working on Linux environments and utilizing tools like Git for collaboration.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices including Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues quickly and effectively.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: Up to £70,000.00 per year
