Salesforce Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Health Cloud Developer with strong hands-on Salesforce development experience and a background in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Salesforce Health Cloud implementations and enhancements, with strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce development.

The candidate should be comfortable collaborating with both onsite and offshore teams and working in a fast-paced environment to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and enhance Salesforce solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Work extensively with Salesforce Health Cloud to support healthcare-related business processes and applications.
• Develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex.
• Build responsive and reusable user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Perform Salesforce configuration and development, including custom objects, fields, validation rules, flows, and other platform capabilities as needed.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce technical solutions.
• Participate in integrations and data-related activities within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve Salesforce application issues.
• Follow Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, product owners, and other technical teams.
• Work effectively with offshore development teams, providing technical guidance, coordination, and support.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Previous experience working in the healthcare industry.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud projects.
• Strong development experience with:
  • Apex
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Salesforce development and customization
• Experience working with distributed/onshore and offshore development teams.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices and the Salesforce platform.
• Ability to analyze requirements and independently develop effective Salesforce solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Salesforce Platform Developer certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare-specific Salesforce implementations and workflows.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce deployment tools and CI/CD processes.
• Additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.

Work Location Requirement

This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work in Hartford, CT every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Candidates must either:

• Be local to the Hartford, CT area, or
• Be willing to relocate to the Hartford, CT area before starting.

Candidates who are unable to meet the Tuesday–Thursday onsite requirement will not be considered.
