Salesforce DevOps Engineer

9Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and enhance Copado pipelines supporting Salesforce development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
• Manage branching strategies, pull requests, merge conflicts, and deployment orchestration across multiple sandboxes.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues tied to metadata, dependencies, profiles, permission sets, and validation rules.
• Partner with developers and admins to push fixes through the pipeline cleanly.
• Support evening and weekend deployment windows on a rotational or as needed basis.
• Maintain documentation around deployment standards, branching policies, and runbooks.
• Coach developers on best practices for committing changes and resolving conflicts.
• Support sandbox refreshes and environment synchronization.
• Monitor pipeline health and deployment metrics, and coordinate release calendars with stakeholders.
• Help evolve the CI/CD framework as the platform scales.

Required Skills and Experience

• Three to five years of hands on experience with Copado for Salesforce CI/CD, including pipeline configuration, user stories, promotions, and back promotions.
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce metadata, deployment strategies, and sandbox management.
• Comfortable with Git based version control, branching models such as GitFlow or trunk based development, pull requests, and code review workflows.
• Familiarity with Salesforce administration concepts including profiles, permission sets, flows, validation rules, and Apex deployment considerations.
• Experience troubleshooting failed deployments and resolving merge conflicts in a fast paced environment.
• Solid English communication skills for regular interaction with onshore stakeholders, developers, and tech leads.

Preferred Qualifications

• Copado certifications such as Copado Certified Administrator or Copado Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer I.
• Prior experience in a regulated industry (financial services, insurance, healthcare), particularly with audit, change control, and compliance workflows.
• Exposure to Copado Robotic Testing, Quality Gates, or Compliance Hub.

Work Schedule: Nightshift (9PM-6AM)

Pay: Php90,000.00 - Php170,000.00 per month
