What they need
Salesforce Manager
Location: Philippines (Remote)
Focus: Salesforce Engineering, Architecture & Technical Leadership
Mentorship: Direct access to CTA (Certified Technical Architect) coaching
The Mission
We’re looking for a Salesforce technical leader who can operate at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and people leadership.
The Salesforce Manager will own the technical direction of Salesforce development, guide the engineering team, and ensure that solutions are built for long-term scalability and maintainability.
You won’t be expected to simply manage tickets or delegate technical work. You should be capable of going deep into Apex, LWC, integrations, data architecture, and platform limitations when the situation requires it.
You’ll have direct access to a Certified Technical Architect, giving you the opportunity to sharpen your architectural thinking while working on complex Salesforce environments.
What We’re Looking For
Salesforce Technical Depth: You have extensive hands-on experience across Apex, LWC, Flow, triggers, asynchronous processing, data modeling, and Salesforce architecture.
Architectural Thinking: You understand the tradeoffs between configuration and custom development and can make decisions based on scalability, performance, maintainability, and platform limits.
Systemic Thinking: You look beyond individual features and understand how technical decisions affect the broader Salesforce ecosystem.
Integration Expertise: You have experience designing or implementing integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP, middleware, or similar technologies.
Engineering Leadership: You can establish technical standards, review architecture and code, mentor developers, and raise the overall quality of the engineering team.
Product Judgment: You’re comfortable challenging requirements when a proposed solution creates unnecessary technical debt or puts the health of the Salesforce org at risk.
Delivery Ownership: You can translate business requirements into technical plans, identify risks, and ensure complex Salesforce initiatives move from design through implementation and deployment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the technical direction of Salesforce development initiatives.
- Design and review scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow, and platform capabilities.
- Establish development standards, coding practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Lead technical design and architecture discussions.
- Review complex code and solutions for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Mentor and develop Salesforce engineers and technical leads.
- Help the team determine when to use configuration, Flow, Apex, or external services.
- Oversee Salesforce integrations and ensure appropriate authentication, error handling, and data-management practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause resolution.
- Identify and manage technical debt across the Salesforce environment.
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business objectives into sustainable technical solutions.
- Plan technical work, identify dependencies and risks, and support delivery across multiple initiatives.
- Contribute hands-on when complex technical problems require deeper Salesforce expertise.
- Help build the team's technical capabilities and prepare high-potential developers for increased responsibility.
What’s In It For You?
The CTA Track: Work directly with a Certified Technical Architect and develop the architectural judgment needed to operate at the highest levels of the Salesforce ecosystem.
Technical Leadership: Shape engineering standards, architecture, and development practices rather than simply executing predefined requirements.
Complex Problems: Work on custom Salesforce applications and high-data-volume environments where scalability and platform architecture matter.
Autonomy: You’ll be trusted to make technical decisions and take ownership of outcomes without unnecessary micromanagement.
Team Impact: Your decisions will influence not only individual projects but also the development practices and technical capabilities of the broader Salesforce team.
The Requirements
- Extensive professional experience in Salesforce development and engineering.
- Advanced Apex development experience, including trigger frameworks, design patterns, bulkification, and asynchronous processing.
- Strong LWC experience, including building performant and maintainable custom components.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Flow and platform automation.
- Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, or comparable technologies.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, data modeling, security, and scalability.
- Experience conducting technical reviews and making architectural decisions.
- Experience mentoring, leading, or managing Salesforce developers.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills.
- Product Owner mindset with the ability to challenge technically unsound requirements.
- Based in the Philippines.
- Willingness to undergo a technical deep-dive focused on architecture, code, system design, and practical Salesforce problem solving.
