Salesforce Solution Architect - Presales

Experience

8–10 years in enterprise CRM consulting and solution architecture, with 4+ years of Salesforce experience in customer-facing consulting or presales roles.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Salesforce Solution Architect to engage with customers throughout the sales lifecycle, understand business challenges, shape digital transformation roadmaps, and design scalable Salesforce solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong functional and solution architecture expertise across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud, with the ability to articulate business value, conduct discovery workshops, prepare solution proposals, and support sales teams in winning strategic opportunities. This role requires a blend of consulting, solution architecture, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

• Lead customer discovery workshops to understand business objectives, challenges, and transformation goals.
• Engage with business and IT stakeholders, including executive leadership, to define solution strategies.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solution architectures.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers throughout the sales cycle.

Solution Architecture

• Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions leveraging:
• Sales Cloud
• Service Cloud
• Data Cloud
• Recommend best practices, platform capabilities, and implementation approaches.
• Define integration architecture with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, MuleSoft, APIs, and third-party platforms.
• Develop solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.

Presales & Business Development

• Support account teams during opportunity qualification and pursuit.
• Prepare technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), solution presentations, and effort estimates.
• Conduct product demonstrations and executive presentations.
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Collaborate with OEM partners and internal delivery teams to develop competitive solutions.

Data & AI Advisory

• Position Salesforce Data Cloud as the enterprise customer data foundation.
• Recommend customer segmentation, identity resolution, and unified customer profile strategies.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI capabilities such as Einstein and Agentforce to improve customer engagement and operational efficiency.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Delivery, Integration, and Data & AI teams.
• Ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and commercially viable.
• Provide knowledge transfer to project delivery teams during project handover.

Required Skills & Experience

Salesforce Expertise

• Strong experience with: Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud
• Good understanding of: Experience Cloud (preferred), Agentforce and Einstein AI (preferred), Salesforce Platform capabilities
• Knowledge of Salesforce licensing and product positioning.

Solution Architecture

• Enterprise solution design, Business process mapping, Customer journey design, CRM transformation programs, Integration architecture, API-led connectivity, Data migration strategies and identity and access management concepts.

Presales Skills

• Discovery workshops, Executive presentations, Solution demonstrations, Proposal writing, Effort estimation, RFP/RFI responses and Commercial awareness

Technical Knowledge

• REST APIs
• Integration platforms (MuleSoft preferred)
• Enterprise applications (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
• Data architecture and governance
• Cloud technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Salesforce certifications such as:
• Salesforce Administrator
• Salesforce platform Architect
• Sales Cloud Consultant
• Service Cloud Consultant
• Data Cloud Consultant (preferred)
• Application/System Architect (preferred)
